Liam Gallagher: I am sad to have sued Noel
Liam and Noel Gallagher's feud is the stuff of rock and roll legends, a turbulent relationship that has always existed in and outside of Oasis, but after their latest long-running spat, reconciliation might be on the cards.
Liam has admitted that despite their very public differences, he was sad at the fact he felt compelled to sue his own brother, which he has since dropped.
Noel had claimed that Liam had been too hung over to perform at the V Festival back in 2009, which led to Oasis having to cancel their scheduled slot.
Speaking to 6 Music, the Beady Eye frontman said: "Listen, that had to happen, I don't take lightly to be called a fraud.
"I feel sad but I feel a lot sadder that there are people walking around thinking that I wouldn't get out of bed cos I had a few beers."
He added that there were still things that needed to be cleared up between him and his brother, suggesting there could at least be a personal reunion.
However, in typical outspoken fashion, when asked what he thought of Noel's new album, he said he had sung most of them and in a better fashion than his brother.
He did concede that people may like the "soft approach".
