Legendary drummers plan collaboration
Queen star Roger Taylor looks set to step out from behind his drum kit for a new project.
The legendary musician has revealed that he is planning to collaborate with fellow drummer Taylor Hawkins next year.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Taylor described the Foo Fighters star as an "awesome" musician and said a quick tour with him could be a lot of fun.
"He's got such a great, open approach to life," he commented.
The pair have worked together before, as Taylor and Queen's electric guitar player Brian May have made several guest appearances with the Foo Fighters over the years.
Hawkins also performed backing vocals on C-Lebrity, a track from the recent Queen and Paul Rodgers album The Cosmos Rocks.
Taylor, who wrote Queen hits including A Kind of Magic and Radio Ga Ga, is currently gearing up to release a solo single later this month.
