Led Zeppelin made subject of iPhone app
Electric guitar legends Led Zeppelin have been made the subject of a new application designed for the iPhone and the iPad.
Created by the team behind the popular This Day in Music app, the new software has been called This Day in Led Zeppelin.
It features more than 1,000 pages of information on the rockers, with features including a quiz on the electric guitar band and details of every gig they ever performed.
Photographs of Led Zeppelin are also provided to users, along with an overview of their highly-successful career and short critiques of every song they ever recorded together.
Neil Cossar, the man behind This Day in Music, said: "I had the idea of making individual apps for some of the biggest acts in the world and thought the best one to start with would be Zeppelin, because of their iconic status."
Last year, Jimmy Page released a special "photographic autobiography" designed to celebrate his time in Led Zeppelin and life in music.
The electric guitar player selected a final set of more than 650 photographs after going through thousands of images taken of him throughout his career, arranging the content into a narrative sequence.
