Laney Prism P20 & P65 Combo Amps Praised
Laney Prism P20 & P65 combo amps have been praised in this month's issue of Guitar & Bass Magazine with the P20 scoring an impressive 82% and the P65 scoring 80%.
Laney Prism P20 'packs a punch, with bright shimmery cleans, Brit-feel amps, 80's sounds and plenty of dark chuggability'.
It features 20W digital modeling combo with 8' Laney custom speaker, four programmable channels. 11 amp models and plenty of onboard effects.
Ideal for rock, blues, and metal sounds at bedroom volumes, the P20 definitely packs a punch in its price range.
With the Laney Prism P65 pretty much all of the above features are featured with the exception of the P65 having a 12' celestion seventy 80 instead of an 8' custom Laney speaker.
With its bright clean settings and shimmering chorus and deley effects the P20 is ideal for rehearsals and small gigs.
With digital modeling amps now accounting for a fair proportion of sales, digital amps in the past couple of years have gone from being a novelty act to a series popular amp alternative.
All in all if you want to get down and play some decent tones with a low faff factor then the Prism range might well be a tempting option.Posted on 14 Jul 2010 14:23 to category : Instruments News
