Lamb of God to begin work on sixth studio album
Heavy metal group Lamb of God have announced that they have begun work on their sixth studio album.
From Virginia in the US, the band are working with hit producer Josh Wilbur, who is best known for working with Avenged Sevenfold.
The band's drummer Chris Adler recently announced the news on Twitter, saying that fans of the band could also watch him play "sneak peak" parts of the new album online for free.
Of the new album, Adler said that he was excited at the music making process for the new band.
"When you are in the middle of it, writing, and having to perform it over and over again, you kind of get lost in it. But when I get to sit back and we have this hard disc - it’s pretty exciting stuff," he said.
"I’m excited that at our spot in time, and at our age, that we’re still doing something that is different and better than anything we’ve done in the past."
Lamb of God came together in 1994 and have since sold nearly two million albums in the US alone.
