Lady Gaga swaps music instruments for newspapers
Lady Gaga took a brief break from her music yesterday as she spent time guest-editing the Metro newspaper at its London headquarters.
She didn't however opt for a more demure look, strolling into the offices looking typically outlandish with a choker, massive beehive and high black heels.
He editorial followed a similar eccentric style, where she noted the honour of being the editor-in-chief of Metro, albeit for a day.
"Dear Monsters, let your identity be your religion. I wish to illuminate the powerful voice of my generation and let them speak for themselves. Little Monsters are not a fan base; they are a culture that exists entirely outside of pop music."
According to Reuters, the star spent 90-minutes preparing editorial the next morning's edition as well as discussing topics as far ranging as the Japanese earthquake and transgender issues.
Her second album, Born This Way, is released next week and will be streamed on the Metro's website a full five days ahead of that.
