Kylie Minogue inspired by fans

Kylie Mingoue has revealed that it was her fans' support that prompted her to go into the studio to record her latest album, 'Aphrodite.'

Kylie Minogue's tour got her back in the studio.

The `All The Lovers' singer admits she was inspired to record her latest LP `Aphrodite' by the response she received from her fans when she was touring the US.

She told website Popjustice: "I think that the inspiration for getting back in and starting this whole rollercoaster again was after the shows I did in North America. They were so from the heart and I felt so rewarded with the feeling and response from doing it. That just gave me that reminder of how amazing it can be. That helped get me back on."

Kylie - who battled breast cancer in 2005 - also spoke of her regret that she never used the songs she wrote about her experience of suffering from the deadly disease on her 2007 album `X'.

She added: "It would have been great to have songs that I'd written about that dark period in my life. And I don't know exactly why those songs weren't on the album but I went with what I thought was the better judgement of others and... And I now understand that a fan or someone who sent out positive vibes to me throughout that period would have wanted to hear something about that period. Not `Hey I saw you across the dancefloor.' "
