The View's Kyle Falconer likes touring with Mark Ronson because he gets given clean boxer shorts.

The Scottish singer recorded the track 'The Bike Song' for Mark's latest album, 'Record Collection' and has enjoyed touring the UK and performing the song with the producer, partly because he got to travel on a more luxurious bus than usual.

Kyle told NME magazine: "It's a lot more relaxed than The View's tours. I was given clean boxer shorts every day, which was pretty good.

"And the tour bus is a lot nicer than the ones we usually get. But I can't wait to get back on tour with The View, it's been far too long."

Although Kyle only appears on one track on 'Record Collection' he cut a few tracks with Mark and hopes at least one of them will be released at some point soon.

He added: "We recorded a couple of tracks. There is one with bagpipes on it. He phoned me up and was like, 'I don't want to sound racist, but I have this song with bagpipes, do you want to write some lyrics and a melody around it? It's f***ing amazing by the way. Maybe it will be a one-off Christmas song."

The View are poised to release their third, as-yet-untitled album - which showcases an influence of dance music - before the end of the year.
