Kurt Cobain 'to be played by Robert Pattinson in new film'

A new film about Nirvana's lead singer Kurt Cobain could be set to star Twilight actor Robert Pattinson in the main role, it has been reported.
According to the Sun, Cobain's wife Courtney Love has been given control over casting for the forthcoming biopic of her husband's life and wants Pattinson for the role.
Last month, Pattinson said that he can play both the guitar and the piano and wants to release an album at some point in the near future.
An insider told the paper that he is desperate to land the role of Cobain.
"Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop," the source said. "She has been a bit wound up by his manners, but he is her number one choice to play Kurt."
Scarlett Johansson is also rumoured to be in the running to take the role of Love in the film, while David Fincher, the man behind Fight Club and Se7en, is being lined up to direct the production.
