Korg introduces innovative Wi-Tune
Posted on 20 Aug 2010 15:01 to category : Instruments News

Korg has launched the world's first wireless tuning system, which has been designed to work for a range of brass and woodwind instruments.
The Korg Wi-Tune has been especially manufactured to deal with difficult to tune instruments such as saxophones, clarinets, flutes and tubas.
Because of the highly discreet nature of the Korg Wi-Tune it can be used in almost any musical environment and allows users to operate it with ease and accuracy, reports MI-Pro.
Alan Scally, Korg UK's marketing manager, said: "Korg is committed to offering the widest range of tuners in the business and we will continue to innovate with new offerings like the Wi-Tune alongside our bestselling entry-level models."
The Korg Wi-Tune WR-01 features a regular clip to fit a number of different instruments, while the WR-01S is specially designed for saxophone and the clarinet.
Later this month (August 27th and 28th 2010), Korg digital pianos are set to be on display at a Gear4Music event in York.
