Korg Unveil A Number Of Different Products Coming Soon
The ARP-Oddyssey-Module was originally implemented in 1972 by a vast number of musicians who favoured it due the vast sonic possibilities that it possessed. Forty years on, Korg have revived the much sought after synthesizer with the help of co-founder of the ARP Instruments company David Friend. Crafted in a form that compliments a more modern usage, the ARP-Oddyssey is more compact in shape and features a traditional style tabletop body. This analog table top synth has a keyboard-less body and contains exactly the same circuitry as the original, ensuring that the replication of a rich ARP ODYSSEY analog sound is once again obtainable.
Another relic that has been suitably revitalized, Korg reintroduce the coveted Volca kick. Consistently proving itself as an ever reliable and powerful analog kick generator, it allows the production of a wide range of kick sounds that are only achievable through analog circuitry. It creates these sounds through the sound of an oscilating filter from the original MS-20. Allowing for a variety of sounds, from crisp basses to solid kick drums, the Volca kick once again brings a scsore of paramount drum sounds to adoring fans the worldover.
