Korg Unveil A Number Of Different Products Coming Soon
The ARP-Oddyssey-Module was originally implemented in 1972 by a vast number of musicians who favoured it due the vast sonic possibilities that it possessed. Forty years on, Korg have revived the much sought after synthesizer with the help of co-founder of the ARP Instruments company David Friend. Crafted in a form that compliments a more modern usage, the ARP-Oddyssey is more compact in shape and features a traditional style tabletop body. This analog table top synth has a keyboard-less body and contains exactly the same circuitry as the original, ensuring that the replication of a rich ARP ODYSSEY analog sound is once again obtainable.
Another relic that has been suitably revitalized, Korg reintroduce the coveted Volca kick. Consistently proving itself as an ever reliable and powerful analog kick generator, it allows the production of a wide range of kick sounds that are only achievable through analog circuitry. It creates these sounds through the sound of an oscilating filter from the original MS-20. Allowing for a variety of sounds, from crisp basses to solid kick drums, the Volca kick once again brings a scsore of paramount drum sounds to adoring fans the worldover.
The all new microKORG S initially became an instant world standard during its original release in 2002 where it fast became one of the world most beloved synthesizers for years to come. Featuring clearly defined and punchy leads, powerful basses and huge sounding pianos, the microKORG makes its return as diverse and fresh as possibly imaginable.
From the mighty to the miniscule. Also being introduced by Korg is the ultra small in-ear metronome, perfect for personal practice. Originally introduced in 2002, the MM-1 micro metronome experienced enormous popularity due to its practical size and revolutionary usability. You are able to choose from a variety of beat and rhythm variations, proving that whilst compact is fully capeable of providing a full range of metronome functionality. With a wide tempo setting range varying from 30-252bpm the in-ear MM-1 micro metronome provides the player with an extensive and multi faceted tool great for development and practice. The earpiece comfortably fits a variety of different ear shapes ensuring the maximum amount of comfort and security, making it ideal for a number of health and fitness ventures as well its implication within the world of music.
To complement the expansive list of products being brought out this year, Korg are also introducing a TM-50 tuner/metronome that has proved itself as being massively popular with musicians of all levels, allowing them to simultaneously train their sense of both pitch and rhythm. Now featuring a refined silver finish that complements the existing black and pearl models, the Korg TM-50 brings a sleek modern aesthetic to the fore.
