Utilizing cutting edge technology, Korg  have developed physical modelling sound engine that authentically replicates the natural sounding tone of strings being struck or plucked. The STR-1 is adept at the production of sounds that respond to a human touch in a way that no other PCM sound system could reproduce.

The list of instruments that the Kronus STR-1 can reproduce is extensive, with the player being able to replicate the likes of : acoustic guitars, electric guitars, harpsichords, clavinets, harp, bells and other ethnic instruments.

The STR-1 sound engine also enables the user to synthesize and modify sounds that do not exist in reality. With all these avenues, the potential to manufacture and produce your own signature sound has never been greater .
