Dance punk band Klaxons have announced the details about their hotly-anticipated second album.
The follow-up to Myths of the Near Future is to be entitled Surfing the Void and will be released on August 23rd 2010.
Echoes will be the first single to be taken from the record and will come out on August 16th.
The new album from the group has been produced by Ross Robinson, who has worked with electric guitar bands such as Slipknot and Korn in the past, reports NME.
Klaxons are set to go on a short tour of the UK ahead of the release of Surfing the Void next month.
Their first date will be at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on July 13th and they will play at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester the next evening.
A further show will take place at the Village Underground in London on July 27th, ahead of the band headlining the Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading and Leeds over the August bank holiday weekend.
