Kings of Leon's ice cream break
Kings of Leon are going to take six months off to eat ice cream.
The band - who have played shows across the world this year - have revealed they want to have a break from the music industry to allow them to relax and refocus before they release their next album.
Drummer Nathan Followill said: "I'm going to sit on my couch and cry tears of joy sitting in my pants with a tub of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookie ice cream.
"Then it's onto the golf course, a bit of fishing and some camping in the wild."
However, the group has already penned several tracks for a new album.
Nathan explained: "We have ten songs already. Two weeks ago we had a set-up in a dressing room in Vancouver and re-ran through them."
Until it is released, band member Matthew plans to go camping and has hinted he might get married to his girlfriend Johanna Bennett.
He told Q magazine: "Camping in Montana, with some fishing. In fact that would make the world better for everyone. Everyone should come.
"I don't think we're that far off marriage and kids ourselves."Posted on 11 Dec 2009 07:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
