Kings of Leon drummer denies label change rumours
Nathan Followill, the man behind the drum kit in Kings of Leon, has denied rumours that the band are set to split from record company Columbia.
Recent reports have linked Kings of Leon with a switch to Warner Brothers but Followill told fans that such stories are not true.
The drum kit player told his Twitter followers: "Once again there is another rumour circulating about KOL [Kings of Leon].
"We are not leaving our record label. We are happy where we are."
Last week, it was claimed that the band were seeking a move from Columbia to Warner Brothers, where they would be given more control over their spending, as well as better royalty rates, reports NME.
Kings of Leon have recorded four albums with Columbia so far in their careers and are currently working on a fifth.
Their hits include Sex On Fire, Molly's Chambers and Taper Jean Girl.Posted on 25 Jan 2010 16:41 to category : Band / Celebrity News
