Posted on 8 Apr 2010 18:10 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has revealed that the band are back in the studio and working on their next album.
Speaking to fans via social networking site Twitter, Followill said that he was "beaming with excitement" to be working on new material.
The drummer added that Kings of Leon "have put down some jams that I think you will all like", reports NME.
When it is released, the new record will be the fifth by the band, following Youth and Young Manhood, Aha Shake Heartbreak, Because of the Times and Only By the Night.
Late last month, the band announced which group will be appearing as support acts at their gig in Hyde Park this summer.
Around 65,000 fans will watch the likes of The Features, The Whigs, The Drums and The Black Keys play before Kings of Leon take to the stage at the event, which is happening on June 30th 2010.
