Keane stalked in Russia
Posted on 4 Jun 2010 16:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Keane were "stalked" when they were on tour in Russia.
The indie band - whose eight-track 'Night Train' EP shot straight to the top of the UK charts last month - revealed fans went to extreme lengths to catch a glimpse of the group, even booking entire carriages on trains they were travelling on.
Keane co-founder Tim Rice-Oxley said: "We were met at airports by screaming fans in South Korea, while in Russia we were stalked.
"We had fans outside our hotel and others had booked a whole carriage on our train - we got drunk and shared stories.
Singer Tom Chaplin explained the band has good memories of their last world tour, and the long rail journeys they took went on to inspire the 'Night Train' EP.
He said: "We have so many memories of that tour. Passionate fans who, at your most unattractive and tired, still want to stick cameras in your face!"
Tim - who worked with Kylie Minogue on her new studio album 'Aphrodite' - went on to add that the 'Spinning Around' pop princess is also a fan of the band.
He told the Sun newspaper: "She's such a talented singer and a hard worker. I was so impressed and of course I rang the boys to boast I was in the studio with her.
"Everyone loves Kylie and I'm chuffed she is a Keane fan."
