Kasabian deny Noel Gallagher rumours
Posted on 26 Nov 2009 16:18 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has dismissed rumours suggesting that Noel Gallagher is to become the band's new electric guitar player.
Speculation about what the future holds for the former Oasis guitarist and songwriter is rife, with some of it claiming he is planning to embark on a solo career in direct rivalry with his brother
Other reports suggested he intends to link up with Kasabian, a band he is known to be fan of.
Meighan, however, told the Daily Record the matter had not even been discussed, either by the band or with Noel.
He added: "It is flattering. I am really glad we did the recent stadium tour with Oasis because there is a piece of history there."
Kasabian's current electric guitar player Serge Pizzorno recently told Click Liverpool that the UK is short of proper rock bands since Oasis split up in the summer.
Pizzorno suggested that apart from Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian are the only worthwhile rock band in the country.
