Kasabian announce intimate pre-Hard Rock Calling show
The band will play at Bridlington Spa, North Yorkshire, on June 26th before heading to London to appear at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford on June 29th and 30th, headlining the first evening.
It is set to be a huge weekend for music with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band topping the bill on the Sunday evening. Support on the Kasabian day comes in the form of Paul Weller, The Cribs, Miles Kane, Klaxons, Kodaline and Tribes.
The Boss will be joined by The Black Crowes and Alabama Shakes. The shows are the first away from the traditional venue of Hyde Park and one of the first to be played at the Olympic Park.
Bruce Springsteen was famously cut short at the 2012 event during a collaboration with Paul McCartney due to going over the agreed curfew.
Kasabian are currently working on new material for their fifth studio album which marks the follow-up to 2011's Velociraptor!.
Tickets for the Bridlington show go on sale on Friday (May 10th) at 09:00 BST.
