Posted on 24 Aug 2010 16:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Kanye West has vowed to release a new song for free every Friday until Christmas.
The 'Power' rapper said that he release not only his own songs but also those by other rappers in a project he's calling "Good Fridays".
Kanye wrote on twitter: ""I know y'all need the music so I'm dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song it may be a new Jay-Z song etc (sic).
"I'm calling it good Fridays. Y'all know every Friday y'all gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now."
"It's about the fans. No more holding back. That's why I dropped 'See Me Now'... It wasn't about me, it was about the Summer the BBQs, etc."
Kanye also said he's unselfishly been working around the clock to get new tracks ready for release.
Referring to his friend and fellow producer, Swizz Beats, Kanye added: "Swizz looked at me the other night and said man are you getting sleep and I told him I can't sleep. My people need this new music."
At present it is not known how Kanye plans to distribute his tracks, but it is most likely he will post them on his official site www.kanyewest.com
