Johnny Marr keen to keep playing guitar with The Cribs
Posted on 8 Oct 2009 18:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar player Johnny Marr has revealed that he is keen for The Cribs to continue as a four-piece.
The former Smiths guitarist has been collaborating with the band for the past two years and appears as a full member on their new album Ignore The Ignorant.
According to Marr, there is no question of The Cribs returning to their previous set-up as a trio and the subject has not even been mentioned.
"When we decided we were going to make it permanent, I felt like I was welcomed in a band full-time," he told NME.
"We're onto a good thing musically".
The legendary Rickenbacker player added that he would find it "weird" if they chose not to make another album together.
Ignore the Ignorant was issued last month and reached number eight in the UK album chart.
Marr first rose to prominence as electric guitar player in The Smiths, which had hits such as This Charming Man and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now.
