Johnny Marr announced as Stone Roses London support
The former Smiths guitarist will appear at the Finsbury Park shows on June 7th and 8th as part of the Manchester band's series of summer shows across the UK.
Ian Brown and co will also play a single gig at Glasgow Green on June 15th with support coming from Primal Scream, Jake Bugg and The View. Marr is currently the only act performing alongside The Stones Roses at Finsbury Park after confirming the show on Twitter.
It's been a busy few weeks for the iconic guitarist after he picked the title of Godlike Genius at the NME Awards and has also released his first solo album, The Messenger.
The Stone Roses made their comeback in summer 2012 with three huge hometown shows in Heaton Park in Manchester.
They will also be appearing at this year's Isle of Wight festival on top of a host of gigs in Japan, the US and Australia.
