John Mayer designs an acoustic guitar

The seven-time Grammy Award winning singer has produced just 25 bespoke acoustic guitars, which produce some of the crispest sounds around.
Dubbed the 00-45SC John Mayer Edition, the acoustic guitars have been made using rosewood, with the soundboard adorned with Adirondack spruce.
"There's something about a smaller-bodied acoustic guitar that has always appealed to me," Mayer said.
"In one glance it inspires me to write, travel, perform, and age along with it."
The country star has gone back to basics lately, returning, as he puts it to a "completely natural way of writing and recording music".
As to his new range of acoustic guitars, Mayer said they were designed with an "artisan's mindset".
Each of the musical instruments has been signed and numbered by the musician.
His first two studio albums were Room For Squares and Heavier Things, records which brought him widespread critical acclaim.
