John 5 picks up new Fender Telecaster
Musician John 5 has added another Fender Telecaster to his already-extensive collection.
The official Fender blog FrontRow explained the star picked up a new Fender Custom Shop Snake Head Tele last week, taking home the instrument from a store in California.
John 5 - who has previously played guitar as part of Marilyn Manson's group, as well as working with Rob Zombie and creating his own solo material - has previously documented his "obsession" with owning Telecasters.
He has a model from almost every one of the 60 years that they have been in production.
John 5 is set to visit the UK and Ireland later this year with Zombie for a series of live dates.
They are to perform at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on June 28th, following this show with one at the Ulster Hall in Belfast the following evening.
A further gig will be held at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on June 30th, wrapping up the trio of performances.
John 5 will be joining Zombie for a number of other European shows in the summer months, with gigs scheduled to take place in Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Vienna and Luxembourg.
