Jimi Hendrix to front ad campaign

Famous faces including electric guitar legend Jimi Hendrix are to be featured on an upcoming advertising campaign.
Hendrix, who died in 1970, achieved fame through his pioneering sound, which included the use of controlled feedback, as well as his dexterity on the Fender Stratocaster.
The guitarist's continuing relevance and popularity in the 21st century has been further reinforced by the news that the Rough Guide series of books is to publish a tome on his life and work.
This will offer a thorough insight into the man himself and his legendary recordings, including Purple Haze, Hey Joe and The Wind Cries Mary.
Hendrix's use of guitar effects - he was famously one of the first exponents of sounds such as phasing and wah wah - will also come under the spotlight.
