Jeff Bridges plays new songs at a gig in LA
The Hollywood superstar Jeff Bridges has put on an amazing show new songs from his self-titled studio album at a gig in Los Angeles.
Bridges, 61, performed at the Troubadour to a star-studded audience that included Olivia Wilde, his co-star from the movie Tron: Legacy, Ryan Reynolds and Pierce Brosnan.
The talented artist, who has played the acoustic guitar all his life, also played tracks from his movie Crazy Heart, for which he won an Oscar in 2010 for best male actor.
He was backed by a four-man band.
Bridges played songs that included Slow Boat, Tumbling Wine and I Will Wait.
Known for having one of the most successful marriages in Hollywood, he dedicated a cover version of Bob Dylan's The Man in Me to his wife Sue, whom he has been married to for 32 years.
His new album will be produced by the well-respected T-Bone Burnett and feature guest appearances from vocalists Roseanne Cash and Sam Philips.
Other musicians lending a hand on the album include jay Bellerose on drums, Keefus Ciancia on keyboard and Mark Ribot on guitar.
It has been ten years since he released his debut album Be Here Soon.
