Jeff Beck recalls 'amazing thrill' of working with Les Paul
Posted on 17 May 2010 13:32 to category : Music News

Jeff Beck has recalled the time he collaborated with a fellow electric guitar legend - Les Paul.
Speaking to Spinner.co.uk, Beck said that he had been fortunate enough in his career to work with many brilliant musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Roger Waters and Sly Stone.
He stated that playing with Les Paul had been "another amazing thrill", while he has also recently enjoyed working with Joss Stone for a track on his new record, Emotion and Commotion.
Beck said collaborating with artists such as Paul and Stone was always enjoyable, thanks to "the inquisitiveness and the diversity, the richness" provided by the shared musical experience.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Beck is to play two special gigs in honour of electric guitar innovator Paul.
The star will perform at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York on June 8th and 9th 2010, with the shows due to feature covers of Paul songs as well as rockabilly classics, reported the Gibson website.
