Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart 'may record together'
Posted on 13 Jan 2010 14:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar legend Jeff Beck is thinking about recording a new album with his old friend and colleague Rod Stewart.
The former Faces vocalist, who later enjoyed solo success with hits such as Hot Legs and Sailing, used to work with the guitarist in The Jeff Beck Group in the late 1960s.
According to Beck, Stewart recently approached him about the possibility of renewing their musical relationship at some point in the near future.
The guitar player said he is interested in a possible collaboration, but laid down one important condition.
"It would have to be a genuine effort, not a weekend blues album," he commented.
Beck is currently gearing up for a brief tour with fellow guitar legend and former Cream member Eric Clapton.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Beck admitted that the two musicians are not "bosom buddies".
However, he said there is a lot of mutual respect between the two men.
