Jeff Beck and Lady Gaga win three awards each at Grammy Awards
Electric guitar legend Jeff Beck was one of the big winners at the Grammy Awards, taking home three gongs after being nominated in five categories.
The star was up for the honours in recognition of his work on his most-recent album Emotion and Commotion.
Others to pick up a trio of prizes at the ceremony in Los Angeles included R&B star John Legend, as well as classical music producer David Frost.
Country stars Lady Antebellum were the best performers on the evening, picking up a grand total of five gongs.
Meanwhile, Arcade Fire were handed perhaps the most prestigious prize of the night, with the group taking away the Grammy for Album of the Year.
Lady Gaga once again grabbed the headlines, hatching herself from a giant opaque egg as she arrived on stage to perform new single Born This Way.
The Poker Face singer was another winner at the event, celebrating success in the Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Short Form Music Video categories.
She was not the only one to perform live, with Bob Dylan, Dr Dre and Justin Bieber also showing off their talents during the evening.
