Jay-Z wants to team up with Liam Gallagher
Jay-Z famously fell out with electric guitar player Noel Gallagher after the Oasis star criticised his presence on the bill at Glastonbury.
However, the acrimony could soon deepen after the rap star confirmed that he would like to collaborate with Noel's estranged brother Liam.
"When you have two artists like us in a room just throwing about ideas you come up with something brilliant fairly easily," Jay-Z told the Sun.
The siblings fronted one of the world's biggest rock bands for over a decade, notching up hits such as Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall and Live Forever, until tensions between the two led to Noel walking out during the summer.
Kasabian recently confirmed that Noel would be joining them on their upcoming UK tour, although the future of Oasis remains in doubt.
Indeed, Jay-Z stated that he does not know what Liam is up to at the moment but invited him to give him a ring if he is interested in teaming up.Posted on 6 Oct 2009 11:48 to category : Band / Celebrity News
