Jay-Z ready to change nappies
Speaking to GQ, the rapper responded to a question about changing his child's nappies by saying:
"Of course, of course. 100 per cent."
It's clear that impending fatherhood is changing his outlook on life and indeed his lyrics and ideas on what he does with his time have evolved since falling madly in love with his wife Beyonce.
Despite being uber-rich he is adamant that he will not spoil his firstborn child.
"Providing – that's not love. Being there – that's more important. I mean, we see that. We see that with all these rich socialites. They're crying out for attention; they're hurting for love," he told the magazine.
"I'm not being judgemental – I'm just making an observation. They're crying out for the love that maybe they didn't get at home, and they got everything. All the material things that they need and want. So we know that's not the key."
Jay-Z, who has boasted of being the best rapper ever in the history of hip hop, was recently criticised for taking advantage of the Occupy Wall Street movement by selling t-shirts with a modified version of the slogan.
