Jay-Z and Kanye West paid £4 million for playing at a birthday bash
The rap duo, who wrapped up their successful North American tour just in time to get back home to their mansions for Christmas, had time to play a special performance for an Arab billionaire.
They were paid a staggering £4 million to showcase their rap skills at a lavish birthday party celebrating the billionaire's daughter's 16th.
It is believed the duo performed some of the hits from their groundbreaking album Watch The Throne, which saw them pit their creative minds for pure hip-hop mastery.
Jay-Z recently hinted that he and his buddy West were considering working together again.
"We – I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode – we're in a great place creatively," he said.
"You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year… We've really found our zone."
An interesting fact, the birthday girl is the sister of Sheikh Mansour – the owner of Manchester City.
