Jared Followill: There are problems in the band

The Kings of Leon bassist has admitted that there are bigger problems within the band, following another cancellation of a gig.

There is speculation that the Kings of Leon are going through a bit of a blip after the band cancelled another gig.

The US rockers were due to play a gig at the Cynthia Woods Mitch Pavilion but have since pulled out.

This comes on the back of abandoning a gig in Dallas midway through a performance.

The band's frontman, Caleb Followill, told the surprised crowd that he was having trouble with his voice.

He said: "I'm trying my best to sing but I haven't got a voice, I’ve got nothing here. I'm not drunk, I'm just...hot."

A statement said that he was suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration, but then rumours of disarray within the band began to surface when the bassist tweeted otherwise.

Jared Followill said: "I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."

The band recently released a documentary film called Talihina Sky – The Story of Kings of Leon, which has gone well commercially and critically.
