Jamie Hince debuts Journey
Posted on 23 Sep 2010 10:00 to category : Music News

Jamie Hince debuted his first movie last night (23.09.10).
The Kills guitarist revealed his first film 'Journey'- a collaboration with Tom Beard - at a James Small party, held at One Leicester Square yesterday.
Although the 'Black Balloon' rocker was unable to attend due to prior commitments in the US, the event - supported by W Hotels and American Express - featured a host of celebrities including Jamie's girlfriend Kate Moss, Sadie Frost and Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine - who all watched the movie and applauded loudly at its conclusion.
Speaking prior to screening, Tom told BANG Showbiz: "I'm pretty nervous, yeah, pretty nervous."
The short film shows a group of men in the countryside enjoying the summer sunshine playing games and includes fashion accessory the W Insider Belt - created by James Small in conjunction with the international hotel chain.
Despite having never worked on a film before, Jamie's music with his bandmate Alison Mosshart, has appeared in a number of movies, including 'Children of Men', 'The House Bunny' and 'Friday the 13th'.
