Jamie Cullum: I always use a Fender guitar when recording
Posted on 19 Jan 2010 18:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Musician Jamie Cullum has praised the Fender Mustang guitar saying the brand is the only one he will use when recording an album.
Speaking to the Guardian ahead of the release of his new single next week, he explained that he had purchased the instrument when he started to become successful and has never regretted making the buy.
"It marked the beginning of my love affair with vintage instruments, which I prefer, as you get a real sense of life from them," said Cullum.
"Whenever I've recorded guitar on my albums, it's been this one."
Fender guitars are not the only piece of equipment made by the company to recently receive praise from professional musicians.
Earlier this week, Def Leppard's Phil Collen had words of admiration for his new Fender G-DEC 3 guitar amps.
Speaking to Fender's official blog FrontRow, he said that the guitar amp made the difference between sounding like a bedroom guitarist or as though you belong in a professional band.
