James Corden ready for solo BRITs
James Corden wants to host next year's BRIT Awards on his own.
The British comic star - who hosted last year's ceremony alongside his 'Gavin and Stacey' co-star Mathew Horne and pop superstar Kylie Minogue - is convinced he can do a better job than this year's host Peter Kay.
James revealed: "After watching Peter Kay I'm sure I could do better. Bring it on! Peter was good but he could have been even more enthusiastic."
The 31-year-old actor - who received mixed reviews for his hosting skills at the BRITs - believes it is easier for a single host to inject their personality into proceedings.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It definitely works better with one host. It's the job I want!"
This year's host Peter got himself involved in some controversy on Tuesday night (16.02.10) when he called singer Liam Gallagher a "k**bhead" for giving his gong for BRITS Album of 30 Years away to a crowd member and tossing his microphone into the audiencePosted on 18 Feb 2010 10:30 to category : Music News
