Jack White's Lone Ranger movie music
The Seven Nation Army singer has signed up for composing duties on The Lone Ranger – a Disney film which Johnny Depp (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) is set to appear in, according to Variety.
White recently had his hit Seven Nation Army covered by The X Factor contestant Marcus Collins.
Jerry Bruckheimer (Bad Boys II, Top Gun, Pearl Harbour) is set to produce the film – which will mark the ex White Stripes member's debut motion picture score.
He has praised White to Variety, saying: "Jack's an amazing songwriter with a unique style."
Besides penning the Lone Ranger music, White will be playing it himself as well as taking on production duties.
Jack White's past hits with the White Stripes include Icky Thump, Fell In Love with a Girl and Blue Orchid.
