Posted on 18th Mar 2010 15:56 to category Band / Celebrity News
Electric guitar player Jack White has teamed up with rap superstar Jay-Z to record a new song.
Details of the collaboration were revealed by White in an interview with GQ.
The electric guitar player told the magazine that he had enjoyed working with Jay-Z, who uses an AKG wireless microphone system when he is on stage.
"It was incredible. I played him something that I've been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it," said White. "It's unbelievable sounding."
However White did not reveal what the song is called or when it will be released.
Earlier this month, the prolific musician, who is in The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather, told the Telegraph that each of his groups inspires the other.
The electric guitar player added that fans can expect The Dead Weather to release their second album within the next few months.
