Jack White: Buy a real guitar instead of playing video games

Electric guitar player Jack White has advised people to put down their Guitar Hero and Rock Band games and pick up a real musical instrument instead.
Speaking to NME, The White Stripes star said that he wanted to see people "quit playing video games" and work on their skills on a real guitar.
Although some of his music has appeared on the Guitar Hero series of games in the past, this is not the first time White has launched an attack on how it influences the way youngsters come into contact with music.
"It's depressing to have a label come and tell you that [Guitar Hero] is how kids are learning about music and experiencing music," the electric guitar player said.
Last month, the prolific musician – whose other groups are The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather – told the Daily Telegraph that each one of his bands provide inspiration to the other.
