Iron Maiden's guitars play over 'painstakingly created animation'
Posted on 14 Jul 2010 16:11 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Guitar group Iron Maiden have revealed a new animated video to promote their latest single.
The clip has been posted on the band's official website and sees their signature metal guitars put to a painstakingly-created animation.
Production firm Darkside helmed the project, which took three months to complete and is being used to launch The Final Frontier, the title track of Bruce Dickinson's group's new album.
Fans may be pleased to learn that the video features the Iron Maiden's longstanding mascot Eddie, who appears in his new alien incarnation.
Meanwhile, the ten-track record will be released on August 16th 2010, with limited edition versions of the CD also set to hit the shelves.
Tracks confirmed to be included are El Dorado, Mother of Mercy and Coming Home.
Last year, Iron Maiden's Adrian Smith spoke of his delight with a new signature guitar from Jackson.
He said it is one of the loudest guitars he has ever played.
