Legendary electric guitar band Iron Maiden have announced details of their new album, along with a host of tour dates around the world.
The new studio album is to be called The Final Frontier and its release date has been pencilled in for late summer this year.
To support the release of the new record, Iron Maiden will be taking part in The Final Frontier World Tour, which will begin with a date in Dallas on June 9th.
Following an extensive tour of the US and Canada, the rock stars will head to Europe, with their first show on the continent set to be a previously announced headline slot at the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth.
Speaking about the forthcoming UK date, frontman and occasional electric guitar player Bruce Dickinson said: "Knebworth has been the home of so many legendary concerts going back many years.
"It really will be a privilege to play there."
Other acts confirmed for the festival include Rammstein, Slayer, Alice Cooper and Motley Crue.
