'Intimidating' star Plan B
Plan B believes people find him "unapproachable and intimidating".
The British singer-and-actor thinks the violent character he played in crime drama 'Harry Brown', alongside Sir Michael Caine, has made the public wary of him.
He told Britain's FHM magazine: "It's my job to make the audience hate me. And it's much easier to make people hate you than like you. Especially the whole public perception of me from the first album, people find me unapproachable and are intimidated by what's written about me.
"It's just playing on that, it's f*ing easy for me. When I was at school I didn't have an older brother or any support network, so if anyone used to start on me at school it was just little old me against the world."
However, the 'Kidz' hitmaker - whose second studio album 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks' was released in April - is more popular when it comes to his music, with grandmothers and teenagers alike praising his work.
He said: "I've had grannies and all sorts coming up to me. What's great about the new album is it's old music that dads and grans and st can be into, but also kids and teenagers because it's got rapping in it."Posted on 11 Jul 2010 10:00 to category : Music News
