Ibanez unveils artists playing Rock am Ring

Music instrument manufacturer Ibanez has revealed that several of its acts will be appearing at the Rock am Ring in Germany this summer.
Metal bands Slipknot, Korn, Dragonforce, Killswitch Engage and Bring Me The Horizon are among those who will be using Ibanez equipment at the June 5th to June 7th event, which is one of the world's biggest music festivals.
Korn were only added to the line-up this week, according to rockamring.co.uk, joining the list of bands along with the Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Limp Bizkit and Bloc Party.
Slipknot are one of the bands perhaps most closely associated with Ibanez, with lead guitarist Mick Thomson, also known as #7, having his own signature MTM2 electric guitar.
Thomson used to be sponsored by BC Rich, but made the switch to Ibanez in 2004, designing the MTM2 as a more affordable version of the MTM1 Ibanez, which he also helped to create.
