New Summer Ibanez Releases
Ibanez has taken to social media to announce the release of their new electric guitars. From 8 strings, guitars with reverse headstocks and more there is plenty on offer for the modern metal guitarist.

The image shared on Ibanez's Facebook page features an RG, an FRIX and an RGAIX respectively. The RG and the FRIX feature to the left of this text.

The FRIX is a tele-esque design that has a classic black finish and the wood grain poking through to give it an eye-catching aesthetic. It also boasts EMG 60 and 81 pickups, a killswitch, Gotoh locking machine heads and a three piece maple / bubinga nitro wizard neck.

The RG meanwhile, is described as 'the classic reborn'. The RG series has been a stalwart in the company's guitar range and the latest editions are set to be an instant classic. Like the FRIX, the RG has Gotoh locking tuners, a nitro wizard neck, a killswitch and an ash wing s-shape body. A number of the new RG series are available in 6, 7 and 8 string versions.

The RGAIX, has a 3D arched body with a flamed maple top, contoured body edge and DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups. These particular pickups have been designed with modern power and clarity in mind. This model also has a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, Gotoh locking machineheads, a coil tap switch and a nitro wizard three piece maple / bubinga neck.

Ibanez said: "The Iron Label series was born out of the desire to create the ultimate metal machine. And musicians noticed…in a big way.

The success of the original Iron Label line has inspired new models that represent the evolution of performance enhancing features, as well as new shapes and colors that are sure to steal the spotlight. All with the same goal— to be the perfect metal machine, ready to rattle bones and wake the dead."

More information is set to follow on the other models in the range.
