Hot Chip guitarist: We have to relearn songs for live tours
Posted on 22 Feb 2010 20:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Hot Chip's electric guitar player Owen Clarke has revealed the band has trouble remembering how to play their biggest hits.
The band are currently on tour following the release of new album One Life Stand and Clarke told the Bournemouth Daily Echo that it's not always easy knowing what notes have to be played on tracks from past records.
"We have to remember how to play the old songs from the back catalogue," he explained. "We didn't play live last year as we were concentrating on the new record, so it's been a while."
The electric guitar player added that the band even have occasional problems with their most recent songs as they typically record them before mastering how to play them live.
Earlier this month, Hot Chip's frontman Alexis Taylor told the News of the World that he would like to write a song for Susan Boyle as he thinks she has got a "great voice".
