Hole return to the stage with new line up
Electric guitar player Courtney Love has returned to the stage with a new set of bandmates for the latest incarnation of rock band Hole.
The band played Shepherd's Bush Empire in London last night (February 17th 2010) ahead of the release of their new album, Nobody's Daughter, later this year.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, electric guitar player Love compared her group to Nine Inch Nails, where the only constant in a notoriously changeable line-up is Trent Reznor.
"I've had 16 members in my band but it's my band," she said. "I work better in a band where people are putting input in and there's just more ebb and flow."
Hole's last record, Celebrity Skin, was released 12 years ago.
Last week, Love gave a lecture at the Oxford Union debating chamber in which she stated she is a "very good rock musician", but not quite so successful as a celebrity.Posted on 18 Feb 2010 21:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
