Hank Marvin 'on top form' as UK tour commences

Hank Marvin's electric guitar playing at the opening night of Cliff Richard and The Shadows' UK tour has been singled out for praise.
The legendary band are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year with a series of reunion gigs in places such as mainland Europe, Australia and South Africa.
They commenced the UK leg of the tour with a performance at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast last night, treating fans to classics such as Do You Wanna Dance? and Living Doll.
Hank Marvin's performance at the gig was rated very highly by the Belfast Telegraph, which described him as one of the "pioneers of rock and roll guitar".
The newspaper said the musician "was on top form playing a collection of Fender Stratocasters, with his trademark clean sound and tremelo sounding as fresh as ever".
Hank's playing was also commended by the Belfast Newsletter, which said he made it look effortless as he "casually plucked" classic riffs from his "trademark" Strat.
