Guns N' Roses take electric guitar riff honour
Sweet Child O'Mine by Guns N' Roses contains the greatest electric guitar riff of all time, according to a new poll.
A third of the guitar lovers quizzed as part of a survey to mark the DVD release of It Might Get Loud voted for the 1988 hit, reports the Daily Telegraph.
It beat Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love and Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile into second and third place, with Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes in fourth.
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and Jack White of The White Stripes are two of the stars of It Might Get Loud.
The film features a jam session involving the pair and U2's The Edge, interspersed with interviews with the rock stars about their love of the electric guitar.
