Guns N' Roses play school
Members of Guns N' Roses played a surprise show for a group of school kids in Oxfordshire, Middle England yesterday (12.10.10).
Guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thai and drummer Frank Ferrer - who are currently playing in London, as part of the group's world tour - appeared at the Witchwood School Of Rock to play a set of songs, and give advice to the children about the music business.
Frank said he found the experience more daunting than a full stadium show, telling the BBC: "I'm actually more nervous going and talking to the kids than I am playing in front of 20,000 people.
"Because usually, you don't see them. Here you're going to see every little kid's face."
The visit - which did not include the band's lead singer Axl Rose - was organised by Mike Dove, who runs the Witchwood centre, who admitted getting the rockers to play was a coup
He said: "They had coffee in my house this morning so it's a bit crazy. I've realised a bit of a boyhood dream."
