Guitarists planning to busk on trek to Jerusalem
Posted on 16 Aug 2010 19:53 to category : Music News

Two guitar players are planning to busk as they walk all the way to Jerusalem on an epic journey through Europe.
David Delia, 21, and Max Evenbly, 20, are going to travel 3,600 miles through 13 different countries on a 13th Century route used by medieval pilgrims, reports BBC News.
Mr Evenbly said: "Ever since I was a little kid, my dream was to take a guitar and backpack and just walk across Europe."
He explained that the pair will be looking to play songs as they make their trip, as music has the power to transcend language barriers.
"Music is something you really understand, you can play your emotion through it."
One busker who has gone on to bigger things recently is Lewis Floyd Henry, reported the London Evening Standard.
The guitar player has been putting on weekly shows in London for the past seven years and has now ended up being booked for festival slots at events such as Bestival.
